Ext. Middle of the desert-Somewhere in Northern Africa. Sunset

The year is 2037, The earth has been plagued by nuclear warfare and only 1 percent of humanity has survived. ADAM(20) is traveling to a safe haven for all remaining survivors. Accompanying him are two former soldiers , Jacob(23) and Dylan(18). They are accompanying ADAM and are trying to get to the bunker before they run out of rations.

ADAM

How much longer until we get there?

JACOB

You'll know when you see it.

 

They stop at a small mountain nearby to rest

 

ADAM

I still can't believe we are the only ones left

DYLAN

It's been crazy these past few days, everyone you know... just gone.

ADAM

I hope my family made it to the bunker in time, they were one of the first ones to evacuate.

 

While they are lying down they see this white beacon shoot up into the sky. The group gets into their vehicle to investigate. This might be the place they were looking for.

 

JACOB

Stay alert, we don't know who or what sent that beacon up.

DYLAN

It could be aliens.

ADAM

Don't be ridiculous, there's no such thing as aliens.

 

Jacob gets his binoculars and looks at the source of the light

 

JACOB

I wouldn't be too sure about that

 

He hands the binoculars to ADAM

 

ADAM

WHAT IS THAT THING?!

 

            ADAM sees a very tall figure with no face, it doesn't resemble anything he has ever seen.

            They park nearby and wait to see what will happen, a few minutes later a huge spaceship comes             down from the sky.

 

JACOB

That has to be their spaceship

ADAM

Whats going on?

JACOB

I don't know, but we should find out

 

              They get closer to the ship and try to overhear what the aliens are saying

 

              Fulmoid is talking to his commander Scakran

FULMOID

Sire, we have done what you asked, earth is now depopulated. There is only a handful of humans left on this planet, we can start Project R soon.

COMMANDER SCAKRAN

Excellent, these foolish humans used their little weapons to destroy each other, all we had to do was get into their heads. Now we can finally rebuild our home

 

              Dylan sneezes and Fulmoid turns around to find the source of the sneeze but they duck in time.

 

JACOB

Are you trying to get us killed?

DYLAN

Sorry, allergies

ADAM

HE'S COMING! RUN!!

 

                They run back into their dune buggy but the alien isn't following them anymore, its like he                    disappeared.

                They start the buggy and try to get out of there as soon as they could. What they didn't realize                 was that the Alien, unbeknownst to them, put a tracker on their vehicle.

 

DYLAN

That was a close one

JACOB

YOU THINK! YOU COULD'VE HAD US KILLED

DYLAN

But I didn't and that's all that matters.

 

                They drive as fast as possible and after a couple of hours they reach the bunker

 

EXT. bunker 50 miles from the place they saw the aliens

 

ADAM

Is this the place?

JACOB

I think so, my map shows this is the place and I saw some people going through that gate

 

                They walk up to the door and are greeted by a voice

 

VOICE

What's the password?

JACOB

Oh crap, no one told me there was a password

JACOB starts panicking

Dylan walks up to the gate confidently

DYLAN

The passwords password

VOICE

Access granted

 

                    Adam and Jacob's jaws drop and they look at each other wondering what just happened

 

                    They go inside and they are amazed to see that everyone's busy doing their part to get                            humanity back on its feet. There's people from all sorts of professions: engineers, teachers,                     construction workers, and doctors. ADAM and his crew are happy to have made it there.

ADAM

We have to tell someone about that spaceship and that guy with no face

JACOB

Are you crazy? They'll think that we're lunatics and kick us out. Keep your mouth shut, nothing will happen to us

 

                    What Jacob didn't know was that the alien was already hot on their trail.

 

Dylan

What do we do now?

ADAM

I guess we just help out, we survived a nuclear fallout so i guess there's nothing left to do but make ourselves useful.

                    The ALIEN has found the sanctuary for the remaining humans and he lets his commander                     know.

FULMOID

Sire, we have found the location of the humans who saw us before.

COMMANDER SCAKRAN

Engage the ships weapon system, be prepared to attack. Send down a pawn to open that gate

 

                    When the pawn gets to the gate he is greeted by the same voice that Adam and his crew                        were greeted by.

 

VOICE

What's the password?

COMMANDER SCAKRAN

Password??? Go and fix this Fulmoid

FULMOID

Of course sire

                    Fulmoid heads down there and runs through every possibility using his super computer and                     finally gets the password.

FULMOID

Surely this must be a mistake, humans can't be this foolish can they? Alright then, the password is password

VOICE

Access granted

fULMOID

I guess they can be.

                    Fulmoid go backs to the ship while the pawn enters the bunker to scout.

PEOPLE IN THE BUNKER

WHAT IS THAT?!

PAWN

We are your doom

PEOPLE IN THE BUNKER

We?

At that moment multiple projectiles were fired inside the base. Humanity was now extinct

INT. Underground lab in the us

                    Suddenly Adam wakes up, he looks around and realizes he is in a lab, he's hooked up to                        these wires and machines. He looks around and sees Dylan and Jacob and multiple people                     from the sanctuary. They were all in their own pods and some were starting to wake up.                        Adam takes off the wires hooked up to him and tries to get out of the pod he is in. He gets                     out and helps the others get out.

ADAM

Jacob, where are we, we were in the bunker a second ago, what happened?

JACOB

I'm as lost as you are, where are we?

ADAM

It looks like some sort of lab. Where's Dylan we have to find him.

 

                    The scene ends with the pair running down the hallway trying to find Dylan. THE END.
